About Me!

I am a 24 year old actress treading the boards in London. East London to be exact! I am orignally from Llandudno in North Wales, although nobody ever seems to believe that thanks to my mixed up accent! I started writing these pieces whilst studying my Masters at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, where I used them as my final creative project. I have since graduated with distinction and am now continuing the collection.

Prior to coming to London I spent 3 years studying music theatre at the University of Central Lancashire, where I developed the northern mash-up accent I have now! I like to think of myself as an honorary northerner! Throughout my training, both in Preston and London, I have been fortunate enough to work on lots of pieces of new theatre and devised work. This is something I continue to be passionate about. I have recently set up The Hidden Theatre Company with friend, and fellow RCSSD grad Drou Constantinou, to continue my love of new and devised theatre. One of the company’s main aims is to showcase new work. I hope this will provide a platform for some of these pieces.

Alongside my acting work, I teach drama, dance and singing to children in and around London. I love it. I also love tea, sweets, cocktails & wine. All of which come up in these monologues!

You can see some of the 2015 original versions of some of the monologues here: https://youtu.be/oQIXREEJq8Q

I’d love to know your thoughts and hear your versions of my monologues.

Have fun reading & get in touch!
